Existing quality concrete covering - 1575 m2 at the main runvay and 2250 m2 at paralel runway-was stripped off and excavated all down to the main bottom foundation layer, Atotal of 1350 m3 of specially designed concrete was then laid down with a special concrete finisher
MAKING ALLOWANCES FOR INCLANATIONS WITH STRAIGHT EDGES
IMPLEMENTATION OF CONCRETE ASPHALT COVERING AT TRENCHES
2925 meters of expansion grouting at the existing main and paralel runway were refilled with polyurethane based filling grout material after having been expanded first. Trenching sections of the reneved runway were then filled in with concrete asphalt covering.
